About Intergrated Risk Solutions

Intergrated Risk Solutions Pty Ltd was formed by Peter Newbound and Patrick Higgins in February 2009. 

Both Patrick and Peter have had many years experience in the general insurance industry, from both general insurance underwriting and general insurance broking prerspective.
 
IRS has clients in the urban areas to remote Australia. We pride ourselves in our ability to give excellent services to our client no matter where they are located geographically.

Summary of Experience;
 
Having commenced in the Insurance Industry in 1975, my journey has seen me work in all facets of General Insurance including Underwriting/Claims/Risk Management and Reinsurance over all classes of business, including management of multi national clients.
 
I have spent 20 years in working for Insurers and 10 years with Insurance Brokers and three years in Financing.
My Career has included AMP General as State Manager and in 1997 was promoted and transferred to National Broker Development Manager in NSW. I served there for 3 years until which time I was appointed as State Manager NSW/ACT for GE Commercial – principally Insurance & Accounting Fees funding, yet also included other forms of Finance.
 
In September 2002, I decided to move back to WA for family reasons transferring with “GE” as an Account Manager until which time I was able to get back into mainstream Insurance.

Summary of Experience;
 
Commenced in the Insurance Industry in 1989 as a proper authority holder for National Mutual  Limited had me starting my insurance career in what has become financial planning. This has taken me into all facets within the financial service from banking, health insurance, risk management and general insurance. 
 
I have spent 20 years in working for clients in both remote and main stream Australia. I have many Aboriginal Corporations as clients. These include remote tourism operations. 
 
In March 2006 I moved from Broome to Perth for family reasons.  
 

Sue Jones, Account Manager

Diploma in Financial Services - Australia & New Zealand Institute of Finance & Insurance

Sue has worked for various Insurance companies from 1986 to 1989 including AMP General and RAC. Sue has been in General Insurance Broking industry since and has worked for medium sized Brokers in the West Australian market.

Sue jointed Peter Newbound in July 2007 and has been instrumental in the success of Intergrated Risk Solutions.

She has a wide range of experience in all facets of commercial insurance.
